# Vellum

A river remembering a drawing.

Blue, green, and orange pigment move across warm paper, carried by currents that fold into eddies and gather around circular basins. A faint pencil construction gives the water something to follow, and something to escape. Concentrated colour passes into delicate, diluted traces.

Release ink, stir the water, or place an eddy. A gesture joins the same currents already moving through the sheet. Change the seed to begin another composition, or hold a moment and save it as a print.

The work explores the meeting of a drawn structure and a moving material. The surface holds their traces as the currents keep changing.
